Phlox stolonifera | Blue Woodland Phlox Double flowers Ideal for pricking out seedlings
Description
Ideal for pricking out seedlings
so I tend to wear gloves for this reason when cutting it back
cutting back the foliage in late autumn helps to maintain the plant's health and prepares it for the next growing season
Delphiniums are considered gross feeders so they like rich soil - our plants thrive from a feeding of sheep manure
Phlox stolonifera | Blue Woodland Phlox Double flowers Ideal for pricking out seedlingsA lovely little woodland Phlox that creeps along the ground forming mats of lavender blue flowers from Spring to Summer. Grows to 15cm tall and spreads indefinitely but not invasively. Prefers a fully sunny spot but will also do well where sun is only available for part of the day. Enjoys lots of compost around its feet and medium amounts of moisture. Great little plant for cottage gardens, at the edge of borders, and underplanting shrubs and roses.
