Vatican. A Pontifical Equestrian Order Of St. Gregory The Great, Knight, Type Ii, Civil Merit certificate_of_authenticity stamped "727"Ordine Equestre di San Gregorio Magno. Instituted in 1831. In silver gilt with red, blue and green enamels, marked "800" (silver) along with an obscured hallmark on the reverse of the wreath suspension, measuring 48 mm (w) x 69. 3 mm (h) inclusive of its wreath suspension, chipping evident in the blue enamels on the reverse centrepiece, original ribbon, better than very fine.
