A Pair of Second War Unissued Japanese Army Lieutenant General Shoulder Boards Newly Listed The tan-coloured leather sweatband isFabricated from fine gold bullion lined with red felt and affixed with two gilded stars on each shoulder board denoting the rank of Lieutenant ( Rikugun chi). The reverse is affixed with silver fasteners on top of a leather backing. The boards each measure at 90. 8mm (l) x 27. 1mm (w) x 7. 1mm (h including the fasteners). With some visible wear these shoulder boards are in better than very fine condition.
