Germany, Luftwaffe. An Em/Nco’s Belt Buckle, By Dr. Franke & Co. Auction Archive Crossguard with quillon and pommel(Luftwaffe Grtelschnalle). Constructed of grey painted magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a raised Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika on a pebbled background, set within an oval laurel leaf wreath, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, maker marked DR. F & CO. for Dr. Franke & Co., Ldenscheid, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), with some loss of finish, in better than very fine condition.
