Constructed of bronze with multi coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with a horizontal pinback, consisting of a Norwegian Cross with swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse overlaid by a central gilt eagle clutching an enameled Nasjonal Samling (NS) style Sun Cross, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of TAPPER OG TRO (BRAVERY AND LOYALTY), unmarked, measuring 43. 37 mm (w) x 46. 04 mm
