Walter Scott Sojeau Vineyard Pinot Noir 2024 Color:Red whose presence relegates wine made
Description
whose presence relegates wine made here to Vin de France status
setting the gold standard for the rest of the world's winemakers
This family-run estate has been making some great Barbera and Barolo in the heart of Piedmont since 1994
and the Heimann family in the southern-Hungarian appellation of Szekszard has been working for generations to rescue it from the brink of Communist-state-sponsered eradication
Walter Scott Sojeau Vineyard Pinot Noir 2024 Color:Red whose presence relegates wine madeWalter Scott owns no vineyards, but Sujeau is as close as they get to an 'estate'. Looking straight east at the Van Duzer Corridor, grapes here handle plenty of weather through the growing season, and the resulting wine is fully formed. Nicely structured, lengthy tannins, with forest floor, strawberry and floral accents, this is the most 'complete' wine of the set.
