Two Imperial War Merit & Bravery Medals By Kautsch Hold 17th August 1901A fine grouping of two Austrian medals, consisting of 1) An Austrian Imperial c. 1917 18 Bronze Militrverdienstmedaille, the medal constructed of bronze, the obverse with a rightward facing bust of Kaiser Karl, circumscribed by Latin script maker marked Kautsch; the reverse inscribed Signum Laudis (Latin Sign for Praise) within a wreath consisting of oak and laurel leaves, on a medal extension and loop for suspension, measuring 31. 18 mm in diameter;
