Germany, Imperial. A Warrior Merit Medal, I Class, C.1900 Buy Now obverse illustrating a left-facing Queen(Krieger Verdienstmedaille I. Klasse). Instituted 1835 by King Friedrich Wilhelm III. (1873 1918 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a wreathed inscription of KRIEGER VERDIENST (WARRIOR MERIT), the reverse with a monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm I, unmarked, measuring 24. 94 mm in diameter, weighing 9. 1 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition.
