Very impressive and attractive badge as worn by Romanian Military Academy instructors & graduate Officers during 1930's
The original (Type I) badge was instituted in April 1944 and fabricated in the Soviet Union
The investigator noted that "The aircraft was found in such a damaged condition that no material facts were obtained from the visit except that the aircraft struck at an angle of about 45 degrees from a south easterly direction
