Interesting autograph letter signed, dated by him on February 20th, 1907, written on paper with letterhead from the Astor Hotel in New York. Puccini, who came to New York to see the Met Opera premiere of his last version of Madama Butterfly, writes to (probably) theater critic Primo Levi about postponing their upcoming meeting because he is
